Farm Plastic Supply - 4oz Non-Woven Geotextile Landscape Fabric

This needle-punched nonwoven geotextile is constructed of 100% polypropylene staple fibers, which are formed into a strong network for dimensional stability and strength. The fabric resists ultraviolet deterioration, rotting, biological degradation and resists naturally encountered bases and acids. Polypropylene is stable within a pH range of 2 to 13. Designed and manufactured primarily for construction applications, these Non Woven Fabric Geotextiles are used in a variety of civil and environmental applications to separate aggregates, filter materials and provide a reliable foundation under specific areas. Engineered to offer high levels of permeability, these geotextiles are an ideal solution for separation, drainage, sediment control, cushioning and various other construction and road repair applications. These geotextiles have a random, three dimensional pore structure and are therefore highly water permeable. This Landscape Fabric is great with water irrigation and letting water get to plants.

Many of our customers find the best use of landscape fabric near shrubs and trees, because it has impressive longevity in those locations. We don’t recommend using it in vegetable gardens or annual flower beds, simply because landscaping fabric is meant to remain undisturbed and left in one place. As such, this product has a felt-like side that keeps the product from slipping when used on a sloped surface.

Weed control fabric will: 

• Keep debris from settling into your soil.

• Prevent weeds from sprouting if they’re located under the soil. 

• Allow you to limit your use of herbicides - this is great for gardeners who don’t like using chemicals on their plants. 

• Retain the moisture in your soil, allowing for improved growth. 

• Control a certain amount of erosion caused by heavy rainfall. 

Garden fabric is also ideal for greenhouses and outdoor displays. It can also be used as a weed barrier for plants that need a weed free environment that don’t have topical coverings of their own.

Shipping

Orders that are placed before 2pm CST will be shipped on the same day. Orders that come in after 2pm CST will ship the next day.

We utilize UPS and FedEx to deliver our orders. Products that weigh over 150lbs will be shipped with a freight carrier. Please call for any special accommodations.

Rates are calculated based on the weight and size of ordered products and delivery location.

Returns

We accept returns within 7 days of receipt of your purchase. Any returned items must be in its original, unused condition.

All returned items are subject to a 10% restocking fee.

Cancellations

Orders that are cancelled before shipping will be refunded entirely. Please contact us promptly for any order cancellations.
